Exalt thee.

If I exalt myself, I lose it all. If I think I’m better than everybody, I’m less than them all. If I think that by stepping over everyone, I will obtain victory, their victories will soon step over me. No matter how high I may think I am, and no matter how high my name may go…I am nobody. I won’t find my life by being the best. I won’t find my life by having the best. I won’t find my life by trying to be perfect. Exalting myself gets me no gain. Exalting myself won’t take pain away. Exalting myself will only have me living a fake identity. I’m not defined by my actions. I’m not defined by how high I may be above others. That’s not how we find our lives. It won’t be by living “the crazy life.” I won’t be by being “on top.” We will find our lives when we humble ourselves all the way down. When we are faced down at our Savior’s feet. We will find our life, when we give it all to Him. We will find our life, when we let Him be our all in our lives. We are no one to be greater than anybody. We are children of God who should remember to humble ourselves before God’s presence every single day. That is how we shall find our lives, by surrendering them to God
