selfless acts –

This is to some people who believed that humans are inherently selfish and we are all programmed to make decisions that serve our very own interest and maybe ensure our own survival.

To seek well to others more than itself – Yes they do exist. Some maybe because of their profession but most of the time they are the unsung heroes living an extraordinary lives. They chose to give up their future, their dreams and their life for the good of others.

Selfless acts – We see it every day. The policemen, firefighters and the armed forces they all have a sense of duty to purse greater good but did evolution explained why someone would run into a burning building to save lives? Why soldiers chose to be away from his/her family to fight for freedom and maintain peace? Again did evolution answer that? Of course not.

I am convinced that God created us with a spirit of selfless love that moves inside each one of us and it is the same selfless love that inspires ordinary people to do extraordinary things for others.

This spirit is not only inspires heroes to run into burning buildings and serve their country but to also teach children, mentor employees, attend to sick patients, give time and resources to charity, advocates change for the environment… from going out their comfort zone to just by simply accepting and loving someone despite how complicated things are. These are selfless acts!!

We can never really physically save’s people’s lives but we can always choose to give some part of us and do a little bit more for others.

Real Selflessness

When we say real? What does it really mean? It means that showing kindness without having thoughts of being rewarded in return. It also means doing passionate deeds even if it is not known to anyone else; it means that our acts are solely motivated by feeling of oneness because true selflessness in its own is a reward!

Completely Selfless

The possibility of the word above maybe cynic but surely even how small that selfless actions and thoughts are it is always possible to be completely selfless at one point because in the end it always, always!!! It gives a never-ending satisfaction and genuine happiness within.

Reflection: SELFLESSNESS

I am trying to find the right words to end this post but I think It would beneficial if I end this post  with a life lessons instead

Selflessness conquers Pride – By definition, selflessness cannot involve inflating our ego, it does exactly the opposite. We should never act just to feed our ego and receive the flattery of the world.

Selflessness expands limitation and happiness – When we act through selfless motives we are helping to expand our sense of self and sense of identity. This enables us to get joy from the achievements of others; it enables us to get joy from serving others. This outlook on life is the best guard against jealousy, meanness and vanity.

True love – We will be able learn how to exhaust true love because again and selfless acts involves a forgetting of oneself and have willingness in their hearts to put others first.

THIS EXACTLY WHAT JESUS DID IN THE CROSS!!!!The perfect example of selfless act.. HE GAVE HIS LIFE IN EXCHANGE FOR OURS.

P.S Happy Independence America!!!

Philippians 2:3-10

Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves. Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. Have this mind among yourselves, which is yours in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. .
