Epiphany

Today, I received the best CHRISTmas gift this year - an answered prayer. For the past few weeks I have been in a constant battle against the "frustration of impatience". People who know me well can attest that, "patience" does not come to me naturally; I know and admit it. Now, after conquering all  the …

Though today was a very a long day for me, I am still writing this with a happy and blessed heart. This torn-out  body and weary eyes cannot compensate how much joy my heart is feeling right now. That is why I am writing this short prayer to share to you the love I have …

selfless acts –

To seek well to others more than itself – Yes they do exist. Some maybe because of their profession but most of the time they are the unsung heroes living an extraordinary lives. They chose to give up their future, their dreams and their life for the good of others.

This is to some people who believed that humans are inherently selfish and we are all programmed to make decisions that serve our very own interest and maybe ensure our own survival.

To seek well to others more than itself – Yes they do exist. Some maybe because of their profession but most of the time they are the unsung heroes living an extraordinary lives. They chose to give up their future, their dreams and their life for the good of others.

Selfless acts – We see it every day. The policemen, firefighters and the armed forces they all have a sense of duty to purse greater good but did evolution explained why someone would run into a burning building to save lives? Why soldiers chose to be away from his/her family to fight for freedom and maintain peace? Again did evolution answer that? Of course not.

I am convinced that God created us with…

Selfless Act- ; Side note by Surgeonfish

In order to give light, one must endure burning….

The world sways in the balance by the decisions and actions of humankind each day- mandatory…..voluntary….statutory. There are those who act to respond and there are those who responds by not acting. But somewhere along the way, a road far less traveled, there are those who act not just simply to respond but to give light and be the catalyst of change

The world sways in the balance by the decisions and actions of humankind each day- mandatory…..voluntary….statutory. There are those who act to respond and there are those who responds by not acting. But somewhere along the way, a road far less traveled, there are those who act not just simply to respond but to give light and be the catalyst of change.

They are the few souls who measures the value of their lives by the lives of others. They are the few who sacrifices the comfort of their homes by helping others build their own. And they are the few who have given so much, but decided to give more until they have been drained to their last drop.

In dark times you will see them light the way…in dark times they will endure burning to show you your path…

Manoy’s Japan Photo Journal

FVA CALIFORNIA

This Blog Post is dedicated to the Man I met in Japan 6 years ago and whom I called brother for life.  We may not related by blood but I am still blessed to call him as family.

After being stationed in Japan both of us transferred in Hawaii (Not at the same time) but Manoy’s love for Japan never ceases and he keeps coming back because a part of his heart was left there. And as of today HE is in Japan once again for vacation. For sure he is having the time of his life (maybe not his heart) but I am convinced that this is one of the trip that he will never forget. Though I am drooling and so jealous of him being there I am still happy for him as a sister, knowing that through stick and stones He became victorious which lead him to a…

About Tonight.

FVA CALIFORNIA

Yesterday was long

Last night was blur

Still I am in awe

To God I adore

My rock my refuge

Strength and Comfort

In the His time we’ll never be confuse

Because about Tonight, a bliss is offered

P.s found a happy place at the beach earlier. thank you Lord for painting stars in the sky and for allowing the waves to my heart.

About last night

FVA CALIFORNIA

Note: Raw thoughts in bulllets

It was a long day

rewarding and fulfilling

Alone at home

Tired and Hungry

Cold

My mind is fried

My heart cried

Needed some air

But I couldnt

Tried to sleep

But I couldn’t

Seeking ventilation

Not attention

Called few friends

Nobody there

Somebody ring

but He is out there

I need no saving

Need some listening

Now I realized who care

Not just who dare

Intangible Happiness

FVA CALIFORNIA

This life is what you make it. No matter what, you’re going to mess up sometimes, it’s a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you’re going to mess it up. Just because you fail once, doesn’t mean you’re gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don’t, then who will, sweetie? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life’s a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.”- mARilyn

I am bawling my eyes into no misery, no dramatic prose and neither any saltiness in my skin and with certainty it isn’t self-destruction and never an endless poetry this time at all. Today with a very wide smiles and nudging jokes, healthy support and adoration. I found myself a simple assurance like holding somebody’s hand…
